Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is pleased to announce that US Airways/American Airlines will extend their second daily non-stop flight to Charlotte, North Carolina through the end of August. The second flight had previously been offered on a seasonal basis however, sustained demand for the service has led airline network planners to continue the current flight schedule.
The two daily Charlotte flights will depart from Manchester at 8:00 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. and return at 11:40 am and 8:50 pm. Aircraft type will vary between a 65 seat Canadair (CRJ) 700 and 76 seat Embraer 175.
Airport Director Mark Brewer commented, “This is great news for both leisure and business travelers whether flying to the Charlotte area or connecting to another US Airways or American city. Charlotte is one of our top destinations and a popular airport for connecting to cities across the US and around the world.
We are very grateful to all of the customers that support Manchester’s air carriers and hope that they will continue to weigh all of the options before making future travel decisions. The bottom line is, the more we support the carriers that we have, the greater our chances of maintaining and attracting more service.”
