Stephen Young Elected Chairman of Manchester Authority

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is pleased to announce that Stephen (Steve) Young was unanimously elected to serve as the next Chairman of the Manchester Airport Authority.  Mr. Young previously served on the Airport Authority Board from 2002-2009, and most recently held the position of Secretary.  He is the co-owner of ImageAbility in Londonderry NH and is Chairman of the Londonderry School Board.  Mr. Young has also held a private pilot’s license for more than twenty-five years.

Past Chairman, Marcel Mercier commented, “Steve is an ardent supporter of the Airport and has been active in the general aviation community for many years.  His aviation background, and previous experience on the Airport Authority Board, will serve the aviation community and airport very well.”

Airport Director, Mark Brewer added, “We are very fortunate to have someone with a combination of business acumen and aviation experience leading the Airport Authority.  Steve is known as a strong proponent of commercial and industrial development in the Southern New Hampshire Region which is important for both economic development as well as creating opportunities to enhance business at MHT.”
